Aquifer Flow Testing
A sophisticated test that reveals what an aquifer can really deliver: yield, drawdown, and specific capacity.
In an aquifer flow test, the test well is pumped at a constant rate while nearby wells are monitored, providing detailed information on the aquifer itself, not just the single well.
During the test, both flow rates and water levels are monitored and recorded continuously. The result is hard data on yield, drawdown, and the specific capacity of the wells: exactly what consulting hydrogeologists and municipalities need for supply planning and permits to take water.
We provide test pumps up to 1,000 gpm, silenced generators, digital flow/datalogger meters, and water level meters for long-term or short-term flow tests.
