Well Overdrill
This drilling process requires precision and lots of experience, and it's one of the most economical ways to bring an existing well up to new standards.
For small to large municipal wells, overdrilling has proven to be a very economical means to upgrade or repair an existing well to new conditions and standards. Instead of abandoning a proven well and starting over, we drill over the existing hole and rebuild it to spec.
When a known, productive aquifer is already tapped, overdrilling lets you keep using it, and it lessens the paperwork and time needed to bring the well back on line compared to permitting a brand-new well.
We also use this service to abandon monitoring or unused old wells, and to grout or re-grout the annulus of existing wells. And if you've lost or stuck auger or coring tools down a hole, overdrilling is often the most cost-effective way to retrieve them.
