Geothermal
Vertical open loop systems drilled by a crew that has been putting holes in Ontario ground since 1915.
We have been drilling and testing geothermal vertical open loop systems since the early 1990s. The vertical open loop supply and return wells are constructed to the engineer's design. The resource for heating and cooling is the water produced from the supply well. It is not wasted, but is returned to the aquifer by a return well.
Vertical open loop systems suit sites where surface area is limited: university and college campuses and commercial properties.
Geothermal work also demands the low-impact site practices we bring to every sensitive job: ground mats, removal of drilling fluids and cuttings wherever possible, and careful control of when and where water is discharged, in line with local and provincial regulations.
