Agriculture and Irrigation
A reliable water source is vital to sustaining Ontario's agricultural base, and to competing in a global economy.
Finding abundant ground water for livestock, dairy, poultry, and field or greenhouse vegetables has been a key part of our drilling activity for over a century. Farms were our first customers in 1915, and they're still at the heart of what we do.
A drilled well is your best value for an agricultural water supply, even compared to surface pipeline water. It's on your property, under your control, and with proper construction it will serve the operation for generations.
We size agricultural wells to the real demand of the operation: peak milking-parlour draw, barn watering lines, irrigation cycles. Getting the sizing right up front is the difference between a well that keeps up and one that doesn't.
Irrigation
Irrigation asks more of a well than almost anything else on a farm: high volume, often for hours at a stretch in the driest part of the year. We drill the well, install the submersible pump, and VFD controls for field crops, field vegetables, greenhouse vegetables, and hydroponic operations, watered by travelling rain guns and centre pivot systems. We size them against peak season demand rather than average draw, because an irrigation well that falls behind in dry weather is no help at all.
